Hanoverian Colt – Born June 7, 2021

This outstanding colt has it all! Looks, pedigree and talent. He will turn heads with his markings and dark black colour once he sheds out his foal coat! He has inherited his dam’s incredible temperament and is absolutely delightful to handle. He has both the potential for the show ring and as a stallion prospect!

Pronounced “Donsair” it is the Scottish Gaelic word for Dancer!

Lily’s sire, Hampton, as a 3-year-old, was reserve champion of his 70-Day Stallion Test in Schlieckau with the overall score of 134.24. Hampton’s sire, His Highness, was the Champion of his Hanoverian stallion licensing, his stallion test and the Danish stallion licensing. He was a successful dressage competitor and sire. Hampton’s dam sire was the legendary Rotspon. Rotspon was reserve champion of his licensing and the following year, easily won his performance test with a score of 145.67. He was a particular star for the test riders, giving them all such a pleasant ride.

Highland Lily’s dam, Daulia, is by the successful Hanoverian sire, Dauphin. By the end of his 11-Month Stallion Performance Test at Adelheidsdorf, with 49 other colts participating, he had earned a score in dressage that ranked him fourth in the group, and Dauphin was invited to remain at Celle on breeding lease. Dauphin descends from the famous dressage stallion Donnerhall, who was known not only for having a successful career as a sport horse, but also passing on his abilities to his offspring to become an influential sire. He placed second in his performance test at Adelheidsdorf and won many Grand Prix, Grand Prix Specials and Freestyles. Dauphin’s dam sire is the famous Hanoverian Stalllion, Feiner Stern. Feiner Stern completed his stallion performance test in 1986 in Adelherdsdorf and he received 9’s on his trot, canter, and rideability.

In 2004, Dancier became the champion of the Hanoverian Stallion Licensing and was purchased by Celle at auction for 330,000 euro. As a 3-year old he won the 300-day Stallion Performance Testing in Adelheidsdorf in 2005 with an index of 142.17 points. He scored 158.46 for dressage (1) and 103.44 for show jumping (19). He won bronze at the 2006 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf and was 12th as a 2008 Bundeschampionate as a 6-year old. He is sired by the lengendary stallion, De Niro, who successfully competed at the Grand Prix-level. In 2008, at the age of 15, De Niro was honoured with the highest stallion award the Hannoveraner Verband has to give – the title “Hanoverian Stallion of the Year”. De Niro passed on to his progeny all qualities required in modern dressage sport. De Niro’s damsire, was Azkent II. Akzent II was regarded as one of the best producers of rideability in modern day horse breeding.

Dancier’s dam Lacarna, was sired by Lancier. Lancier is a son of the fabulous Lauries Crusador xx. Lancier’s rideability deserves special attention as he received a 9 for willingness to perform at his 300 day stallion test and his talent for dressage was confirmed where he achieved highest marks in all partial results. He exhibited three excellent gaits and a well balanced temperament.
