June 2024

Both foals have arrived! Both are bay colts and their dams ( a mother and daughter) are similar in colour as well so it will be difficult to tell who is who when they are out together in the field. Harrington does a have small star but not sure how far it will show up from a distance! We are very pleased with both these crosses. We will be breeding G-Southlake as soon as we can. We have retired Florencia from breeding this year. She is older now and we have three daughters of hers to breed if we choose to.

Darlequin our five year old homebred mare by Dauphin out of Highland Lily (Hampton) is in foal to Vilancio (Vitalis/Lancet/Rubenstein I). She has had her thirty day heartbeat check and is due around mid April of 2025.

We continue to ride and train Lenah our four year old by Licosto. We are now trailering her to our coach once a week for a brief lesson. She is such a nice youngster….so willing and forward thinking but steady without rushing.

The yearlings have really grown and have matured into three lovely fillies. We bring them into the barn every other day for routine grooming. We also take the mares and foals in as well so the colts get used to halters, handling and humans lol!

Below is a photo of the mares G-Southlake and Florencio and the two colts “Harry” and “Barry” 🙂
