Stallions

At Capall Warmbloods, we will be using a number of superior warmblood stallions to produce top quality offspring with talent and rideability.  The purpose of this page is to provide a brief description of the sires of our current and expected foals.  Links are provided for additional information on these outstanding stallions!


VILANCIO (Vitalis/Lancet/Rubenstein I)

Vilancio is 16.3hh Oldenburg stallion that  was approved Hanoverian in 2015.  He possesses maximum balance in all three gaits, an attribute that he demonstrates under saddle. Vilancio completed his 30-day-test with the key aspect on dressage with a total score of 9.23 (interior 9.63, trot 9, canter 8.75, walk 10, conformation 10 and rideability 9.25).

HIS HIGHNESS (Hohenstein/Donnerhall/Feiner Stern)

In 2002, His Highness was the Hanoverian licensing champion.  At the Danish licensing in 2005, he was proclaimed champion of the four-year-old dressage stallions. He was champion at his stallion performance test in Prussendorf in 2003, receiving a total score of 149.24. His outstanding quality was rewarded with the dressage index of 155.04, the highest score in this class, and he received 106.67 in jumping with 9’s and 10 for rideability.


BELISSIMO M (Beltain/Romadour II/Lucius xx)

Belissimo M was a top auction horse, and a record breaking stallion performance test winner. In 2002 Belissimo achived the highest result in a 30-day test to that date, scoring the perfect 10.0 four times.  He had a phenomenal young horse career, as Bundeschampion as a 4-year-old and Vice Champion as a 6-year-old. After a long break (for breeding), he returned in 2011 to advanced (S)level and won and was placed in grand prix classes.  At the 2012 Olympics in London, Belissimo M represented Australia. This outstanding stallion has been a major player in the revival of the ‘B’ line in German dressage breeding.

DE NIRO (Donnerhall/Akzent II/Wiesenbaum xx)

In 1997, De Niro was vice champion of the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf with a score of 141.93 points and champion of rideability with a score of 145.41 points. He received a score of 9 in all three gaits. By the age of seven, he was competing Grand Prix. De Niro was a prolific producer of young horse winners, and top level Grand Prix horses. In 2018, for the sixth time De Niro stood at the top of the worlds best dressage stallions.

LICOSTO (Licotus/Rosenkavalier/Apart)

As a four year old, Licosto was a participant of the Bundeschampionate with an overall score of 8.33.  He was the top priced horse at the Westphalian elite auction and won the riding horse championships at the International Dressage Festival in Lingen.  At his thirty day test, he scored a 8.61 in dressage with high rideability scores.  He is beautiful dark liver chestnut with a blaze and four stockings.

FEINRICH (Furst Heinrich/Sir Donnerhall/Don Schufro)

Feinrich was the winner of his licensing in November 2015 in Redefin. In his 2016 performance test, Feinrich passed with flying colours and finished in the top group. In 2018, he won young horse competitions of his age group. Both his sire and dam are producers of top stallions and mares.

BENICIO (Bellissimo M/Velten Third/Wanderkoenig)

Benicio won the 2011 6yr old German Bundeschampionate and six months later he aced his Stallion Performance Test at Schliekau with perfect 10’s for walk, trot and canter. His final score for the dressage section, 9.88. His top-of-class jumping score was 8.43. Now trained to Grand Prix level, this stallion with his dream paces, faultless rideability and character has captivated the dressage breeding community.

ZHIVAGO (Krack C/Jazz/Ulft)

Zhivago was the reserve champion of the 2007 KWPN Stallion Licensing. He also became the winner of the 2007 KWPN Autumn Stallion performance testing. He matured to campaign successfully as an international small tour horse at Prix St. Georges and Intermediare I, and up to Intermediare II. Zhivago won the 2010 and 2011 KWPN Stallion Competition and 2009 Pavo Cup Finals.


DANCIER (DeNiro/Lancier/Espri)

Dancier was champion of the 2004 Hanoverian  Stallion Licensing in Verden, Germany.  In 2005 he was Champion of the Stallion Performance Test.  He was reserve champion of the Hanoverian Young Horse Championships, and was third in the four-year-old Bundeschampionat Final.  He has many licensed sons and successful offspring showing in Grand Prix.

DAUPHIN (Donnerhall/Feiner Stern/Pik Ramiro)

Sired by the legendary dressage stallion, Donnerhall, Dauphin (1999 Approved Hanoverian Stallion) passes on to his offspring movement, type, and correctness.  His standing at stud on Prince Edward Island has provided us with an unique opportunity to meet this terrific stallion making it an easy decision to breed him to our mares.

LONDONDERRY (Lauries Crusader/Warkant/Eiger I)

Londonderry (1995 Approved Hanoverian Stallion) was winner of the 1997 stallion licensing.  In the following year, he received 134.576 point in the dressage category of the stallion performance test. In 2005, Londonderry received a Breeding Value Index of 157 points from the German Equestrian Federation. He passes on his type, expression and movement to his offspring.

BENETTON DREAM (Bretano II/Rotspon/Davignon)

Benetton Dream (2004 Approved Hanoverian Stallion) was the Hanoverian Champion in 2007. The three year old stallion had the highest mark in all four rounds.  The judges were very impressed by his type, quality and three expressive gaits, including a walk score of 10.  His offspring have been quite successful with several of his foals earning  champion and reserve champion status.

BONHEUR (Brentano II/Roncalli xx/Glander)

At the time of his export from Germany, Bonheur  (1993 Approved Hanoverian Stallion) had been assigned a top 10% “Breeding Value” in dressage with an overall 150 points.  In 2013, Bonheur was listed in the Stallion Yearbook (FN) in Germany with an overall score of 130.  His offspring are very elegant with tremendous rideability and because of this, we chose him to sire two of our 2016 foals and all of our 2017 crop.  We have used him to further accentuate our mares elegance, refinement and flashy gaits.

SCHWARZENEGGER (Sion/Calypso II/Graphit)

Schwarzenegger (1997 Approved Hanoverian Stallion) is known for producing offspring with tremendous talent for the dressage and jumping rings.  He has competed successfully in advanced level dressage competitions in Germany.  He is on the top list of jumper producers for the Hanoverian breed for 2012-2016.
