It has been a quiet spring as we did not have any foals this year, but breeding season has arrived and all three mares have been ultra sounded and bred. Now just waiting for pregnancy checks in a couple of weeks time! We are breeding with frozen semen and the Atlantic Veterinary College has been great to work with.

The sale horses have grown over the winter and we have started to work with them at bit more now that the weather is nicer. All of them have been loaded on and off the trailer a couple of times and taken for a small drive. Fogo the three year old is being introduced to the bridle, saddle and lunging. Harrington the two year old is learning how to free lunge so we can take some sales video and Vigoro the one year old is just hanging out and playing with his friend. They are routinely brought into the barn for brushing and handling and seem to enjoy it as they all are waiting at the gate when you head out with a halter.
